Seeing examples of ourselves in the world—whether through art, culture, or community initiatives—validates our dreams and fuels our determination to achieve them. We can't make something happen if we can't imagine it. But if we can imagine it—if we see examples of our potential selves in the world, we can turn our imagination into achievement.  Even small examples can help us imagine a future different than our history and our current reality.
